Gregory Joseph Koper Wednesday March 6th 2019

It is with great sadness that the family of Gregory Joseph “Greg” Koper announces his passing on March 6, 2019 from an illness at the age of 61 years.
Greg will be lovingly remembered by all those who knew him: his parents, Alexander and Josephine; daughters, Megan (Ryan Smith), Christina (Rudy Biassoli), and Jillian; grandson, Leonardo; siblings, Steve (Terry), Chris (Debbie), and Sue (Allen); and his extended family, many friends, and coworkers.
Greg lived humbly, boldly, and always with humour. He had a great curiosity and passion for life, particularly for things that were designed and made with care, and he incorporated those qualities into his own works. He met the news of his illness with tremendous and inspiring courage and grace.
Family and friends may pay their respects Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 9709 111 Ave NW, Edmonton.
A Divine Liturgy will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Parish, 7007 109 St NW, Edmonton with interment to follow in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Leduc. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Edmonton Community Foundation, 9910 103 St NW, Edmonton, AB, T5K 2V7.
