Gertie’ Gertrude’s Obituary
Gertrude Ruether, known to all as “Gertie”, passed away at the age of 93 years.
Gertie was born in Cardiff, Alberta and grew up in the Morinville area.
She and her husband Frank Ruether farmed west of Fairview and raised 5 children. After Frank’s death in 2004 she moved to Fairview where she lived until her death.
Gertie will be fondly remembered by her children, Ann Marie, Jon (Carol), Frank (Sandy), Fred (Joyce), Len (Char), and her grandchildren.
A Funeral Service and Interment will be held at a later date. Service Date to be announced.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
