It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing after a short illness on March 15, 2019 at the Hamilton General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Vera. Survived by his loving family son Robert (Bob) and his daughter in law Heather, grandchildren Meaghan (Brad), Elysia (Graham), Joshua (Ana) and great grandchildren Everley, Diem and Iris. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter Lynne, his parents Isaac and Flora French and his sister Flora Wesley. A Service Celebrating George’s life will be held at 11 a.m. On Saturday March 23, 2019 at the Church of the Epiphany, 114 Bronte Road, Oakville. Reception to follow. The family would like to thank the staff of The Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital CCU, Brantford General Hospital CCU and the Hamilton General Hospital CCU for their wonderful care and comfort. In lieu of flowers donations to the Church of the Epiphany www.epiphanyoakville.com/ or the Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ca/ would be appreciated by the family.
