Obituary of George Allan Connor
Connor, George Allan
1929-2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of G. Allan Connor on March 11, 2019, in his 90th year. Allan was the beloved husband of Pearl for 66 years. He was the loving father of Steve (Heather) and Rebekah (Shawn). He was the dear grandfather of Sarah (Sam), Jon, Nicholas, Lindsay (Rob), and Daniel, and great-grandfather of Isabelle and Alexander. He was predeceased by his older brother, Don.
Allan was a man of great faith in God, who had a keen interest in current affairs and a desire to make a difference in the world. In later years he published three books in which he shared his faith and his life. He is at peace now with the Lord whom he served all his life. His passing is a great loss and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A special thank you to all the staff at Port Hope Extendicare for their outstanding care and support.
Friends and family are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life service at Calvary Baptist Church, 237 Ball St., Cobourg, Ontario on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 1:30pm, with visitation to commence one-hour prior. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northumberland Fare Share Foodbank (fareshare.ca).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of George Allan
