Doran, Enid Marguerite (nee Greer)
April 21, 1928-March 13, 2019
Peacefully on Wednesday March 13 in her 91st year with her daughters by her side. Dear wife of the late Carm Doran (1987) and daughter of the late Allan and Agnes (nee Cameron) Greer. Beloved mother of Debbie and Dave Randle of Amherstview, Judy and Dan Reinwald of Belleville and Barb and the late Scott Armstrong of Kingston. Remembered with love and respect as Grandma/Grammie by Melissa and Steve Randle (Kylie), Mark and Kristen Randle (Dylan), Amanda and Wes Van Wychen (Hayden and Isabelle), Brad and Stacey Reinwald (Caleb, Hailey, Aliyah and Mason), Zachary Armstrong and Christine Pollock (Emma), Stephanie and Chris Garrison (Everly, Abbigail), Christina Armstrong and Phil Vallieres. Loving sister of Ralph (Huguette) Greer of Salmon River, BC., Ron (Maxine) Greer of Kingston, the late Ivan Greer, Jack (Ruth) Greer of Lanark and Vic (Judy) Greer of Coburg. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Resting at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.). The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Wayne Soble at Edith Rankin Memorial United Church (4080 Bath Road) on Saturday, March 16th, at 12 noon. There will be an interment to follow directly after the service at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens. Everyone is welcome to join the family at the Edith Rankin Church Hall for a time of celebration after the interment. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the Memory Unit at Briargate Retirement Residence for the exceptionally compassionate and loving care we all received during Mom’s time there.
