On Monday, February 25, 2019 Mrs. Emma Mark of Viking, Alberta and formerly of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Viking Extendicare at the age of 100 years.
Emma is survived by her loving family; son, Larry (Donna) Mark of Irma; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Mark of Devon, Alberta; three grandchildren, Gordon Mark of Las Vegas, Nevada, Leonard (Rhonda) Mark of Irma, Teresa (Don) Herzog of Devon; great grandchildren, Taryn, Bryn, Austin, Kailee, Colby, Payton, Sierra, Hunter; one sister, Thelma… Read More » Gibbs of Edmonton, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Mark; son Gerald Mark; siblings, Francis Johnson, Kaye Hughes, Olive Grieve.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM from the Irma United Church with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in the Irma Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Irma United Church or the Viking Extendicare.
The family would like to express their sincere thank you to the care givers and staff at the Viking Extendicare for all that they have done for Emma during her lengthy stay.
