Edward Sidney Hill, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away March 7, 2019 at the age of 94 years.
Edward Sidney Hill was born in Manor, SK on November 9, 1924 to Arthur and Ethel Hill. On December 12, 1968, Edward married Helen Jasperson at the United Church in Estevan, SK.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Ethel Hill; brothers: Clifford, Philip, Fred and Arthur; and his sister Clarice.
Edward is survived by his wife, Helen; as well as several nephews, nieces and friends.
Ed farmed with his brother Philip for many years. After he and Helen married, they lived in Manor, SK for 12 more years until retirement. They then moved to Redvers, SK and spent many years of retirement there until health started to fail. They moved to Weyburn, SK in August 2009 until his passing.
A Funeral Service for Edward will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, 1825 ~ 1st Avenue, Weyburn, SK with Rev. M. Barnabas officiating. All those attending the service are Honorary Pallbearers. Luncheon will be held following the service at RD Family Funeral Chapel. Interment will be held at Redvers Cemetery, Redverse, SK.
For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Edward may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 1V9.
