Earle Robert Sheffield Jr.
– 67, of New Minas, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019 in
the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Look Off, Kings
County, he was a son of the late Earl and Laura (Barkhouse) Sheffield.
In his earlier years, he was employed on various farms and then worked
with Hanna Excavating and Cornwallis Trucking for a number of years.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Edwards, Coldbrook; a sister,
Margaret, Look Off; a brother, Paul, Look Off; three grandchildren,
Trevor Channing, Keith Ring and Mike Johnson; nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by a daughter, Carrie; a son, Timothy; a sister,
Connie; two brothers, Hubert and Eugene. There will be no visitation,
by request. A public graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 28, 2019 in the Arlington Cemetery, Kings County,
Reverend Dorothy Huntley officiating. Donations in memory may be made
to the charity of your choice. A special thank-you to the staff at the
QEII Health Sciences Centre, Neurosurgery Unit 7.3. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova
Scotia.
