At LHSC-University Hospital on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Cindy Mitchell. Father of Shelly and David. Step-father of Jason and Lacy and step-grandfather of Evan, Jace and Ryder. John will be sadly missed be his nieces Linda Melanson, Karen Dorman and their families. Remembered by special friends John and Lynn Payne. Predeceased by his brother Bill Evans and sister-in-law Lucille Evans. John was a heavy equipment operator with Local 793 Operating Engineers Union.
Arrangements are incomplete at this time.
