Donna Jean Trew (née MacDougall)
1942-2019
Passed away peacefully,
with her daughters by her side, after a courageous and fiercely
independent battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at
Parkwood Institute in her 78th year.
Cherished mother of
Marci Trew (John) and Michelle Nogueira (John). Loving and adored Nana
of Aaron and Noah. Loving sister of Murray (Carole). Donna is
predeceased by her beloved husband Walter “Wally” (2014),
her parents Lorne and Mary, and her infant daughter Tracy (1967).
Donna will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended
families.
Special
thanks to Dr. Bhayana for her ongoing care and going above and beyond
the call of duty. A heartfelt thank you to the caring, compassionate
and dignified approach by the interdisciplinary team and support staff
at Parkwood Institute. With special thanks to PJ, Carol, Michelle,
Amanda and Bretton. Michelle appreciated the Social Work support
provided by David. A gifted thanks to Musical Therapist Jill who
soothed the family and Donna’s pain with some of Donna’s favourite
artists.
Cremation has taken
place.
As per Donna’s wish, no
visitation or funeral service will be held.
Arrangements entrusted
to Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street,
London, Ontario (519-433-6181).
Those who wish may make
memorial donations to Parkwood Institute, Palliative Care in memory of
Donna.

A tree will be planted, by the Logan Funeral Home,
as a living memorial to Donna Jean Trew
(née MacDougall).
