Obituary of Dean Moodie
Passed away suddenly on Sunday March 24, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Dean Moodie, beloved husband of Helen Mary Moodie (Ranger) of 47 years. Son of the late John Denzil Moodie and Ruby Bisson. Loving father of Jennifer (Justin Kusinskis) and Krista (Joe Gerard), amazingly funny and adored Gramps of Sophie, Gavin, Ruby and Roman.
Dean will be sadly missed by brother Wayne Moodie (Betty) and sister Sheila Irving and all his extended family; Ann (Kelly) Leclair, Joe (Kathleen) Ranger, Lola (Art) Burnett, Murray Ranger, Rosemarie (Raymond) Shea, predeceased by Lenny Ranger, Billy (Helen) Ranger, Bobby (Diane) Ranger, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Dean’s gift to make us laugh along with his contagious spirit of love will live in our hearts forever.
Funeral mass will be held in St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, 160 Rue Front, Campbell’s Bay Quebec on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the RA Centre in Campbell’s Bay.
Interment to follow at a later date at St. John Evangelist Catholic Cemetery in Campbell’s Bay, QC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.
