Obituary of Darlene Sigfusson
SIGFUSSON, Carol
It is with great sadness we announce that Carol Sigfusson passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019. She passed away with her loving sister-in-law Betty, her dog Sally, and friend Holy by her side. Carol was born on April 20, 1949 in Regina. She and her brother Barrie were raised on a farm by Wynyard, SK to parents Annie and Stone Sigfusson. Carol’s immediate family consists of her brother Barrie (Betty); nephew Trevor (Melissa) and their children, Hanna, Aidan, and Landyn; niece Trudy (Brennan) and their children, Haley, Ethan, Deegan, and LillyAnne. She will be missed by her close friend Terry Cerkowniak, many cousins and friends. Carol graduated from Wynyard Composite High School in 1966 and went onto attend Success Business College in Regina, where she graduated from in 1967. Carol took her newly learned skills and applied them for 25 years at Co-operators Insurance Service. After retiring from the Co-operators, she worked at Cuets and Sears before settling into full retirement. Carol’s passions included caring for her pets, gardening, enjoying country music, and keeping journals. Her pets were a major part of Carol’s life. Interment of ashes will be held at the Pilot Butte Cemetery on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.
