The passing of Cleadie Beatrice Barnett of McAdam, NB, widow
of the late Malcolm Frederick Barnett occurred at Wauklehegan Manor
McAdam NB on March 19th, 2019. She
was 83. Born August 5,1935 in Fairvale, NB, she was a daughter of the
late Norman “Stan” and Cleadie ” (Banks)
Keating.
Besides her parents and husband Malcolm (1982), Cleadie was
predeceased by 2 sisters Mae Livingston and Doreen Wallace and a
brother Murray A. Keating.
Cleadie was a dedicated and faithful member of the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and she was a Certified
Genealogist.
Cleadie will be lovingly remembered by sons Michael (Lorri)
of Mount Uniac, NS and Vaughn of Estey’s Bridge, NB; also by
daughters, Marina Airey of Fredericton and Lillis Zimmer of McAdam; 21
grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Cleadie also leaves a
brother, Norman Keating (Verna) of Saint John, NB; numerous nieces and
nephews, cousins and extended family.
The family welcome relatives and friends to join them for a
time of visitation to be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540
Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Friday March
22nd, 2019 from 6-8 PM.
A service celebrating Cleadie’s life will be held
at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday March
23rd at 2 PM with Bishop Robert McGougin
officiating. Interment will be held in the Waterville Cemetery at a
later date.
The family has designated the Canadian Cancer Society and The
Diabetes Association for memorial contributions.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Bishop’s Funeral Home.
