Chunn Donald C Don March 2nd 2019

Chunn , Donald C. “Don”
March 2nd, 2019
November 9, 1925 ~ March 2, 2019
Peacefully, after a brief illness at University Hospital, London, Ontario. Beloved partner of Catherine Proudfoot. Survived by children James (Suma), Ian (Susan), and Patricia (Steven). Loved grandpa of David, Michael, Edie, and Lauren. Remembered by brother, Bert (Helen), and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Rosemary; sisters Edna and Dorothy; and brothers: Alan, Gordon, Reginald and Harold. Don grew up in Winnipeg and served in the RCAF, inspiring a life-long interest in flying, before taking a B.Sc. at the University of Manitoba, and an M.Sc. at the University of Guelph. He worked for many years in quality assurance at Labatt’s, and found time to enjoy the great outdoors with a circle of old friends, as well as to travel, play golf, curl, and master duplicate bridge. A Celebration of Life is planned for June; for more information, please email Donchunnfamily@yahoo.com.
