At home on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 the Lord called unto Himself Catharina ‘Ena’ Hordyk in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Leonard ‘Len’ Hordyk. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Karen (Brad) Walker, Kimberley Griffioen (predeceased 2003), Jack and Joanne Griffioen. Proud grandma of Daniel Griffioen, Lauryn (Ryan) Zorn, Matthew Walker (predeceased 2016); great-grandma of Leah and Braeden Zorn. She will also be missed by her in-laws of the Hordyk family and many nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Burlington Memorial Gardens, 3353 Guelph Line, Burlington at 10 a.m. followed with a Memorial Service at BETHEL CRC, 616 Dundas St. E. (At Kerns Rd.) Waterdown starting at 11 a.m. Donations to the Trinity Christian School or Hamilton District Christian School would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
