On March 7, 2019 Mr. Herb “Metro” Cardinal of Saddle Lake passed away at the age of 66 years. He is survived by 6 children, Corey (Amanda) Gladue, Jeremy Hunter, Melissa (James) Hunter, Morgan (Mel-Lisa) Cardinal, Bobbi-Jo Cardinal & Mason (Adrienne) Cardinal; numerous grandchildren; loving mother, Theresa Cardinal; siblings, Mary Cardinal-Collins, Ilene Nepoose, Denise (Mike) Steinhauer, Nora (Eric) Cardinal, Linda Cardinal, Brian (Kathy) Cardinal, Debra Cardinal, Dolly Cardinal & Roxanne Cutknife; numerous nieces & nephews. Herb was predeceased by his father, Peter Cardinal Jr.; sister, Lorraine Cardinal; brother, Leon Cardinal; uncle, Walter Makokis; & nephew, Michael R. Cardinal. A Wake will be held on Sunday (leaving Grace Gardens at 2:00 p.m.) & Monday, March 10 & 11 at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Ayiwakes Cultural Centre, Saddle Lake.
