James Bruce Brown of Plympton-Wyoming passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family and close friends on Wednesday, March 6th , 2019 in his 64th year.
Bruce was the loving husband and best friend of Judy for 41 years, a relationship that began as a friendship and was later built on from their high school years.
Together they raised their family of Missie (Shortty), Sue (Tom), Phillip (Bobbi) and Stefanie (Rob); a closely bonded family no matter where they pitched their tent. Bruce was thrilled to see his family grow with the addition of their Grandchildren: Britney (Dustin), Kam, Erica (Al), Cody, Samantha (Dystin), Issac and James as well as his Great Grandchildren: Ashton, Chloe, Bethany, Aubree and Madelyn. Bruce will be missed by special friends Wayne & Annette, Brenda, Rhonda and Tom.
Bruce was known for his bright photogenic smile and loved time with family and friends. Weddings, and the birth of his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren brought him great pride. A favourite past time included wrestling, his love of music and going to concerts.
A Celebration took place on February 23rd as family and friends joined together and enjoyed one last concert with Bruce as Scott Manery and the Barnburners played and they partied late into the night. A Celebration that Bruce was able to be part of and feel the love of those in attendance.
The family would like to thank their VON nurse Danika, Dr. Alija, Bruce’s therapist Sean, Eric Jensen, and the multitude of selfless individuals who will forever be known as friends.
Donations are appreciated in Bruce’s name to River City Vineyard or The Inn of the Good Shepherd in Sarnia.
