Handcke, Breid (nee Harkin), of Stoney Creek, Ontario.
Died peacefully at home on March 26, in the loving care of her family after a lengthy illness borne with grace, dignity and courage.She leaves behind her loving husband Klaus, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.Predeceased by both parents, a sister, and a brother and his wife.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at St Francis of Xavier Church, Chapel Room, Stoney Creek, from 1to 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 31.A funeral mass and disbursement of ashes in her home-town of Moville Co. Donegal, Ireland will take place at a later date.
Many thanks to her doctors and nursing staff for their care and compassion.
