GRAVES, Bonnie Jean ~ Age 68 of Halifax/Morden. It is with great sadness the family announces her passing on Monday, March 4, 2019, at the VG Hospital in Halifax. after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Berwick, Kings Co., the daughter of Marjorie J. (Dorey) Keddy, Morden and the late Levi “Bub” C. Keddy. Bonnie was a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Auburn. She enjoyed spending summers in Morden with friends and family. She also loved to travel and especially enjoyed going to warm destinations in the Caribbean and spent the past several winters in Florida with her husband. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 48 years Murray; sons, Jeff (Wendy) Graves, Sackville. Colin (Wendy) Graves, Enfield; grandchildren, Grayson, Jaxson, Bryston, and Breagh. Her mother, Majorie Keddy Morden. Sister, Lois (Robert Barkhouse) MacLean, Truro; brother, Ron (Diviya) Keddy, Toronto, Ont. Best friends, Les & Dianne Woodley, Halifax. As per Bonnie’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6:30-8:30 p.m., Friday, in Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448. Memorial service will take place at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 9, in St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 20 Morden Road, Auburn, with Rev. Mel Malton officiating. Reception will follow in the Morden Community Hall. Interment at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Auburn or to the Morden Community Association. The family would like to say a special thank you to Lois for her love and support to Bonnie in her last days and who was by her side around the clock at the hospital. The family would also like to thank the professional staff on floor 7A at the VG Hospital for their comfort, care, and support shown to Bonnie and the family.
