KENNEDY, Blanche Theresa

Unexpectedly at her home, on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, in her 92nd year. Blanche (nee Olsen), daughter of the late John and Ruby (LaRush) Olsen. Beloved wife of the late Murray Joseph Kennedy. Dear mother of Suzanne Marie Kennedy, grandmother of Judith Anne Wagenaar and great-grandmother to Jazmyn. Survived by her sisters, Emma Murphy (late Ken), Joyce Revelle (late Vernon) and Marilyn Birtch (Marvin), all of Kingston. Predeceased by her brothers, Ron, Jim, Ken and Gord Olsen. Remembered by the LeComte family, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends sincere gratitude to 911 for their special help and to the ambulance drivers, police officers and firefighters that responded to the scene very promptly. The Liturgy of the Word service will held in the Chapel of JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Saturday, March 9 at 11:00 am, officiated by Reverend Father Jack Grainger with interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 10:50 am, and during a reception following the service in the James Reid Reception Centre. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Mrs. Kennedy’s memory.
