Beverley Price (Wurts)
April 19, 1940 – March 25, 2019
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Bev Price at the age of 78 years. Bev will be missed and remembered by her husband Dave Price, her children Owen and Lea (husband Andrew Willis) and her grandchildren Michael and Jamie. Bev was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Myrtle Wurts and her brother Elwood
Bev was a loving wife, mother, Grandma and friend. Bev was born and raised in Duff, Saskatchewan. Bev and Dave were married in 1960 and lived in Duff, Saskatoon, Candle Lake, Weirdale and the last two years as a resident of the Herb Bassett Home in Prince Albert. Bev and Dave lived at Candle Lake for over thirty years and during this time they built and operated Price’s Mini-Golf and Torch Light Gardens. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, polite and kind-hearted nature, her sense of humour, love for her family and love for her pets (Toby will miss her).
The Price family extends their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff and volunteers at the Herb Bassett Home (Golden Hill).
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to the Herb Bassett Home via The Victoria Hospital Foundation. A Private Family Service will be held in Bev’s memory at a later date. Bev will be laid to rest at Duff Cemetery. Condolences can be sent to the family on www.grays.ca Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Grays Funeral Chapel (306)922-4729
