Betty MacEachern 19272019

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on
March 7, 2019, of Betty Helene MacEachern, beloved wife of the late
William (Bill) MacEachern, of Charlottetown and formerly of Mermaid,
PEI. Born in O’Leary, PEI, Betty was the daughter of Preston and
Adelaide (Griffin) Thompson (predeceased). She leaves to mourn her
daughters Zoe Anne (André) and family of Dominion, NS, and Zandra
Wilson (Ivan) of Saskatoon, SK; son Richard of Charlottetown. She was
predeceased by her brother-in-law Donald MacEachern (Alma) and
sister-in-law Elizabeth Andrew (Alvin). She also leaves to mourn four
grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and four nieces. There will
be no visitation or funeral service by personal request; a private
family service and interment of ashes will take place at Calvin
Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Mermaid. Those who wish may make a
memorial gift to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation or Trinity
United Church (Charlottetown) Restoration Fund. The family extends
thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff at the QEH
for their compassionate care and attention, and to Geneva Villa, and
to the many friends who called and visited. Arrangements entrusted to
Belvedere Funeral Home.
