Modaragamage, Ranjith
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, March 4, 2019, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 61 years.
Beloved husband for almost 37 years of Sriyanie Modaragamage of Elmira, formerly of Waterloo.
Cherished father of Dilshan (Amanda), Heshan (Emily), and Roshan.
Loved grandfather of Chloe, Hailey; Kelly, Cameron, and Brenna.
Will be missed by brother-in-law Upul and Sagarika Gunasinghe and their children Sherina and Tasha.
Predeceased by his parents Albin and Alice Modaragamage.
Ranjith was a true athlete, having played for the Sri Lankan national basketball team.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira.
Pansakula will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Cremation will take place following the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Waterloo Wellington Buddhist Monastery would be appreciated by the family.
