With heavy hearts the family of Cecelia Whitefish announces her passing on Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 62 years old.
She leaves to mourn her loving common law, William Kahpeechoose; her children:Verna (Marvin) Whitefish, Ritchie (Kimberley) Whitefish, Laura (Merle) Whitefish, Hubert Whitefish, Sonya Whitefish, Shannon (Gerald) Whitefish, Aldina Whitefish, and Kayla (Gregory) Whitefish; two adopted sons: Kenny (Tammy) Dustyhorn and Chad Joseph; 17 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brothers and sisters: Andrew (Beatrice) Whitefish, Nora (Angus) McAdam, Grace Whitefish, Mary Ann Whitefish, Albert Whitefish, Rose Jane (Vernon) Whitefish, Rosalie (Fenton) Whitefish, Darcy Whitefish; her grandmother Lucy Whitefish; special aunt Annabelle Whitefish
Cecelia was predeceased by her parents Edward and Sally Whitefish; her brothers Donald, Frank, and Howard; her sons Lester Whitefish and Terry Thomas; her grandparents Harry and Jean Harris; her paternal grandparents George Whitefish and Alice Hunt
The Wake Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2019. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. Both services will take place at the Big River First Nation Band Hall with the interment to follow in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery
