Clifford Ehrlich 2019

Clifford Ehrlich
May 3, 1957 – March 26, 2019

With great sadness, the family of the late Clifford Ehrlich announce his passing at the Canora Hospital on March 26, 2019, at the age of 61 years.
Cliff was born on May 3, 1957 in Canora, SK, to Harold and Irene (nee Weinbender) Ehrlich. He was raised on a farm, and after marrying Gayle (nee Kitchen), later lived on the farm across the river where they spent most of their days. Whether it was putting in long hours farming his own land, or helping family and friends with theirs, the farm was where Cliff felt most at home.
Cliff was a thinker and handy with many skillsets. From building his house on the farm and other carpentry jobs, to fixing and building machinery, to making trips out to help his kids with projects they had on the go, Cliff liked to keep his hands busy. Even later in life, he continued to be a problem solver and innovator, passing his knowledge on to others.
In his spare time, and during all seasons, Cliff enjoyed fishing. It didn’t matter where; up north, out west, on the lake, or simply sneaking down to the river, Cliff always had a huge smile on his face when the opportunity arose. Cliff valued time with family and friends. He was always telling jokes or finding ways to make people laugh. One couldn’t help but smile when Cliff was around. Though he never shied from having a good time, he preferred the simple life spending time on the farm with his family and late hours working with the light on in his shop.
Clifford was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Irene. He is survived by his wife, Gayle; three children: Chad (Kristina), Jenna (Yvan) and Abbigayle (Brandon); grandchild, Jake; and his sisters, Gwen and Jo-anne; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. The Ehrlich family would like to extend their appreciation to the Canora Hospital Staff for the compassionate care received, as well as to all who have expressed sympathy throughout their loss. A Celebration of Cliff’s Life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of Leson’s Funeral Home, Canora, SK, with Pastor Andrew Cottrill officiating. Those wishing to make expressions of sympathy may make donations to the Canora Hospital Auxiliary, Zion Lutheran Church, Yorkton, SK, or to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, as tokens of remembrance, in memory of Cliff Ehrlich.
