1927-2019
Alcide LeBlanc, 91, of Richiboucto-Village, passed away peacefully,
surrounded by his family at the UHC Dr Georges-L. Dumont, Moncton on
Wednesday March 27, 2019. He was married to Alice (Desroches)
LeBlanc. Born in Richiboucto-Village, he was the son of the late
Alphonse and the late Eva (Léger) LeBlanc.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Alice, his two sons; Jean-Guy of
Richiboucto-Village and Paul (Mélanie) of Bouctouche as well as
two grandsons; Shawn and Mathieu. He also leaves to mourn four
sisters; Annette Saulnier of Moncton, Marie Richard (Léandre),
Alphonsine Allain, and Jeannine Richard (Euclide) of
Richiboucto-Village, four brothers; Léo of Richiboucto, Gerard
(Ida), Abel (Gemma) of Richiboucto-Village and Raoul of Saint-Louis as
well as several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by two sisters; Bertha and Léontine and five
brothers; Elias, Rhéal, Yvon, Zoël and Adolphe.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic
Church Slumber Room, Richiboucto-Village on Thursday March 28, 2019
from 7 to 9 and on Friday March 29, 2019 from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at the Richiboucto-Village Church on Friday
March 29 at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the
spring.
In Alcide’s memory, donations may be made to the Saint-Antoine
de Padoue Parish Fund.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
