Obituary for
Gérard Guy
It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing following a brief battle with cancer, on Sunday, March 24th, 2019 at the age of 65 years. He passed peacefully at his beloved farm in the arms of his wife Zoe and sons, Kevin and Eric.
Son of the late Léon Guy and of the late Laurette Guy (née Gauthier). Husband of 23 years to Zoe Brooks. Loving father of Kevin Guy (Holly) and Eric Guy (Andrée). Cherished grandfather of Maurice.
Dear brother of Madeleine Kramer (Frank), Pauline Brisco (Allan predeceased) and Lise Plante (Denis predeceased).
Gerry will also by missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and countless friends. He was the kind of person you meet once and stayed in your heart forever, with a grin and a story to brighten any day.
In keeping with Gérard’s wishes there will be no visitation.
A celebration of life will be held at the Beaver Lake Sports and Cultural Club, Worthington ON, Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at 2 P.M. (country casual attire is welcome) with a reception to follow. (** See map below) In lieu of flowers, donations to the widow (Zoe Brooks) would be greatly appreciated by the family and wisely shared.
Cremation to take place at the Cooperative Crematorium, Chelmsford. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
