Longtime resident of Weston
Peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday March 23rd, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Roper. Loving father of Craig, Cathy, and Julie. Cherished grampa of April and her partner Gus and Charles and his wife Jacqueline. Great-grampa of Samara, Graydon, Abagail, and Amelia. Remembered by his sister-in-law Ruby Andrews. Predeceased by his brothers Walt (Dora) and Syd (Bev), by brother-in-law Thomas “Tuck” Andrews, and his sister-in-law Catherine Andrews. Charles will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday March 28th, 2019 at 11am. Interment to take place at Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

    I can say you where the best Uncle in the world you will be dearly missed..You had the best smile ever, even when I saw you Friday night you still smiled at me when I walked into the room and said my name. And to my cousin I’m so sorry for all our lost, but you where very lucky to have a Dad around as long as you did.
