Bennett, Elizabeth: (nee Penney) November 10, 1922 – March 23, 2019. Passed peacefully away at her home in the presence of her loving family our beloved mother on Saturday, March 23, 2019, Elizabeth (Betty) Bennett, aged 96 years of Holyrood. Predeceased by her husband Frank, son William (Bill), brothers: John & Ben. Left with fond and loving memories are her children: Michael (Annabelle ), Clara Dumont (John), Helen Brennan (Edward), John (Mary Jane), Peter (Janice), Robert (Valerie), Philip (Marie), & Elizabeth (Joe), her 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grand children, many nieces, nephews & a large circle of extended family & friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Tuesday & Wednesday from 2 pm – 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. Funeral will take place on Thursday, March 28, 2019 following 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Holy Cross Church or a charity of one’s choice.
