Sigouin, Leo
Passed away on March 17th 2019. Although two strokes took his voice his humor was never silenced. Through a battle with cancer and a subsequent heart attack he used the love and laughter in his eyes to keep his daughters strong. On A beautiful and sunny Sunday morning, with his daughters on either side, he passed peacefully in his sleep.
Leo was Survived by his two daughters, Jessica Bloom (Andrew and grandpuppy Cocoa) and Stephanie Klerks (David and grandpuppies Ripley and Molly), his 3 loving sisters; Rolande (Charles), Suzanne (Edmond) and Marie along with many nieces and nephews.
Leo was born in Ottawa to Leo and Jeanette Sigouin on September 1 1957. He was married March 6th 1982, and fathered two beautiful daughters. He loved fishing, photography but mostly loved spending time with his girls and grandpuppies.
We would like to thank his amazing teams at the Ottawa Civic Hospital and the Carleton Place District Memorial Hospital. A very special thank you to Matt, Jasmine and Stephanie at the Civic for the special care and attention they gave our father. Another sincere thank you to Alison and Kaitlyn at CPDH for making his last few days comfortable and special and helping us stay strong.
His celebration of life will be held on April 14th 2019, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. at 3100 Carling avenue, Carleton condos. For any questions please contact Stephanie Klerks at stephanie.klerks85@gmail.com or Jessica Bloom at jessica-bloom@outlook.com
