Carla Ann Luka 1965 2019

Obituary of Carla Ann Luka
Carla Ann Luka, age 53 of Dartmouth, passed away on March 17, 2019. Born May 6, 1965 in Pemboke, Ont., she was a daughter of Frederick and Ethel Jenkins.
Carla could always be depended on to lend a helping hand, she would give the shirt off her back. If you were in Carla’s thoughts and prayers you would be sure to hear from her, usually by phone (or greeting card). Carla lived her life like there was no tomorrow. She cared not to hide her emotions and her heart was almost too big to contain. She was a lover of music, art and pop culture, coffee and cigarettes.
These are her words:
“May your eyes be open through the pain; sorrow, happiness, joy, and love. Bless your soul with many treasures of goodness as you walk with the melodies of the world.”
Carla is survived by father, Frederick Jenkins Jr.; daughter, Yulanda Luka; son, Corey Luka; sister, Sherry (Richard) Noye; brother, Dominic Jenkins; niece, Lana Mancia; nephew, Joshua Jenkins; and niece, Kayla Jenkins.
She was predeceased by her mother, Ethel Jenkins (Fraser); and brother, Lawrence Jenkins.
The funeral service will be held in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 9 Veterans Ave., Dartmouth on Friday, March 22nd at 2 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
