It is with great sadness that
the family of the late ROLAND
ORAM of Grand Bank announce his
passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on
Wednesday, March 13th, 2019 at the age of 65. Leaving to
mourn with fond and loving memories are; wife Katherine of 46 years;
sons, Chris (Angela) of Mount Pearl, NL, Roland (Loretta) of Mount
Pearl, NL; sisters, Viola Oram of Sandringham, NL, Marilyn Smart
(Tony) of Glovertown, NL; brothers, Calvin (Wavey) of Govertown, NL,
Larry (Ann) of Glovertown, NL, Garry (Lorraine) of Burnside, NL;
mother-in-law, Caroline Day of Grand Bank; sisters-in-law, Velma
Stewart (Murdock), Olive Hickman, Darlene Benteau (Gus);
brother-in-law, Wilson Hickman (Mary); 3 grandchildren, Jasmine,
Brady, Paige; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Azariah &
Alice Oram; father-in-law, Thomas Hickman; sister-in-law, Lynette
Hickman.
The Oram Family will be
accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank
on Thursday, March 14th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Friday, March 15th
from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Funeral Service will
be held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Grand Bank on Saturday, March
16th at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at a later
date.
In
Roland’s memory, donations may be made to the Oram
Family or flowers gratefully
accepted.
Cremation to take
place.
