Walter Roy Addison
Peacefully at Temiskaming Hospital on Saturday, March 9, 2019 Walter “Roy” Addison of Thornloe passed away at the age of 71. Dear father of Cheryl Kelly, Roy Addison, Jeff Addison (Elisa Desjardins), Karen Addison and Rob Addison (Trish Steele). Survived by his grandchildren Patrick, Raymond, Kendall, Daniel and Emmett. Sadly missed by his sister Emilie Booker and many other extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his infant son Kenny and his siblings Patricia Quenneville, Frances Carleton and Marie Smith. Roy was a self-employed auto mechanic who loved vintage cars. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends often playing guitar with his sister Pat joining him on vocals. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. D. Davies, the long-term care staff and all other support persons at Temiskaming Hospital for the wonderful care and support that they provided to Roy. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, 705-672-3122.
