Anna Yaniszewski
It is with profound sadness the family of Lou Yaniszewski announce her peaceful passing on Thursday March 7, 2019 at the age of 87 years at Extendicare Timmins. Lou leaves to cherish her memory to her daughters Janis (Chris Salvador) and Carla (Bruce Raine), grandchildren Kelly Salvador (Gerard Barry), Scott Salvador, Ashley Raine (Mike Rainville). Also left to mourn are her five siblings, Edith, Robert, David, Virginia and Eleanor, their spouses and children all from Alberta, her sister and brother in-laws Lucy and Sonny Vallier, Fred and Grace Janiszewski, Henry and Myrna Yaniszewski and their children and families. Lou was predeceased by her husband Edward (2001) and her brother Edward (2014). She worked at CKGB radio for 25 years, loved her bowling and bingo, Toronto Blue Jays and was actively involved with Legion Branch 88 and the Ladies Auxiliary. Mom’s passion for knitting, sewing, cards, puzzles and baking will be cherished and carried on through her daughters and grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday March 16, 2019 from 1 to 3 pm at Lessard Stephens Reception Centre. Light refreshments will be available. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to our Alzheimer Society of Timmins-Porcupine District or to a local charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home 705-268-4488. Online condolences or donations can be made at www.lessardstephens.com
