August 9, 1946 – February 24, 2019
After a lengthy illness with cancer, Evelyn died at Hospice Prince Edward on February 24th, 2019 at the age of 72. Of Picton, raised in Dundas, ON, formerly of Richmond, BC, Toronto and many other places throughout Canada, at the age of 72. Formerly the wife of Dave Kutzner and Mike Trites. Loved sister of Audrey Magnusson and her husband Grant Miller of Kelowna, BC and favourite (only) aunt of Devon Miles. Daughter of the late Gudmundur & Alice Magnusson. Evelyn enjoyed world travel, loved all her many dogs, and had a real zest for life as evidenced by her first time skydiving at the age of sixty-five. A celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Picton on Thursday April 4th at 1 p.m. The Reverend Lynne Donovan officiating. If desired, donations to Quinte Humane Society or Reaching for Rainbows would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Picton.
