Raymond Howard Moses
Raymond Howard Moses, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019, at the age of 82 years after a brief battle with stomach cancer and pneumonia.
Raymond was born on February 3, 1937, in Sturgeon Lake, AB, to Anicet Moses and Marguerite Papastesis.
He married Catherine Napio (Nabew) on March 24, 1962. Raymond worked numerous labourer jobs which took him and his family to many different towns. He moved into Valleyview Long Term Care in 2007 and stayed there until his passing.
Raymond is survived by children: Marguerite Fawcett, Mary-Janet Moses, Gloria Friesen and his son; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, sisters Emelia Martineau and Mary Chowace, brothers Max and Dolphus, daughters Nancy and Brenda, son Raymond Junior, and grandson Darcy Moses.
A Wake will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 4:00pm, at Sturgeon Lake Community Hall.
A Funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 2:30pm, at Sturgeon Lake Community Hall.
Memorial donations may be made to Valleyview Health Centre Foundation – Long Term Care (Box 358 , Valleyview, AB, T0H 3N0).
