After a long battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully at home with her family on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019.
Beloved wife of Alfred “Alfie” predeceased. Loving mother of Richard (Brian) and Carrie Meandro (Phil). Much loved grandmother of Richard and great grandmother of Ky. Daughter of Rudolphe and Cecile St. Germain both predeceased. Dear sister of Mack (Margaret predeceased), Denis (Betty), Henriette (George), Larry (Laurie), Rachelle (Carl), Jeannie (Stan), Irene (Gary) and predeceased by Jeannine, Robert, Leo, Frank, Rudy, Pauline, Suzanne, Patrick and Collette. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews and everyone that knew her.
Denise was born in Hamilton. She met Alfred in Worthington and they later married in September of 1963. Denise loved playing bingo, working and being outside. She loved all kids and was a friend to everyone she met.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside her husband in the Park Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
