1971-2019
It is with sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our
brother John Edward McLean 48 years of
Springhill on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Edward
“Ed” and Norma (Lamrock) McLean.
John worked for the town of Amherst.
John will be remembered fondly to his family and friends for
his “bigger than life” personality and smile. John enjoyed
the simple things in life, spending time with his nieces and nephews,
and trips with his buddies to the camp.
John is survived by sisters, Nancy (Danny) Berry, Springhill,
NS and Lorilee McLean (Gerald Mills), Springhill, NS; brother Tom
(Debbie), Timberlea, NS; nieces and nephews, Cory, Lucas, Justine,
Lindsey, Sydney, Emma, Kaitlyn, Erica and great niece
Jayden.
Arrangements are under the care and guidance of
A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street, Springhill,
(902 597 2361) where an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held on
Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 4 pm until 7 pm. All are invited to share
memories of John.
Those wishing to make a donation in John’s memory may do so
to the Springhill Elementary Schools.
