BAYS, Zenka (Zdenka Valentic) Passed away peacefully on Saturday February 16, 2019 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gus (August) and parents John and Mary Valentic (Biondic). Dear mother of daughters Diane Clark and Linda Burke. Grandmother of treasured grandsons Tyler Clark (Carli), Scott Clark (Dana), and Daniel Burke (Krista), and great-grandmother of cherished Leda and Elayna. Sister of Nellie (Ivan Tavchar) and Deanna Valentic (deceased). Aunt to Andrea Tavchar (Derrick Hempel), and Andrew Tavchar (Christine). Great-aunt to Alex, Sabrina, Ethan, and Lucas. Will be remembered by many friends and relatives in Croatia. Will be missed by grand-furbabies Levi and Emma. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Regina Gardens Long Term Care Residence for their outstanding compassion and care. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, to be followed by a private family interment. Zenka was a 25+ year volunteer at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre and the Canadian Cancer Society so, if desired, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
