Obituary of William Taylor
Peacefully surrounded by the love of his family, at Summit Place Nursing Home in Owen Sound, on Monday morning, February 4th, 2019. William John Taylor, of Owen Sound, at the age of 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Marion Taylor (nee Showell) for 65 years. Loving father of Sheila Fleming (Eamon), Dale Hingston (David), Dawn Whitfield (William), Terri-Lee Hansen (David) and Jean Duncan (Bryan), all of Owen Sound. Proud grandfather of Jamie (Rebecca), Colin, Jennifer, Christina (Alex), Zachary, Daniel, Keira (Justin) and great-grandfather of Emma, Mela and Chase. Dear brother of Joan Hillis, of Owen Sound, Keith Taylor (Marilyn), of Ariss and Lyn Baker (Bill), of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his parents, George and Hazel Taylor; his infant sons, Laurie and Larry Taylor; his brother, Gordon Taylor.
Friends may call at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Friday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service for William Taylor will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 9th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Paula Classey officiating.
