William Hubic
September 9, 1963 – January 30, 2019
William was born September 9, 1963 in Canora, SK to Alexander and Adeline Hubic. He was raised in Swan Plain and Norquay, SK and played many sports in his childhood and teenage years. In his youth, he loved soccer, hockey and excelled at football. Playing half back, punter, and linebacker for the Norquay Knights in High School, he set a school record in 1979 of scoring 83 points in one game.
At the age of 20, William moved to Regina, SK. In September 1995, he married Mary Parker and had two beautiful children with her.
Taught by his beloved father, Willie was an avid hunter who enjoyed the outdoors and laying traps.
He was always laughing, smiling, telling jokes, and doing as many kind things as he could for
everyone in his life. He wants all of us laughing, smiling and telling jokes. Here is one last
joke to remember him by “A furniture store keeps calling me. All I wanted was a one night
stand.”
