William Bill Stuart Grant January 30th 2019

(1938-2019)
Bill passed away on January 30, 2019 following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer disease. He was born in Brandon, Manitoba on February 17, 1938. He received his schooling in Forrest before attending university and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. He taught high school in Virden, Manitoba for 20 years. He showed great devotion for his students, therefore capturing their respect in return. Following retirement from teaching, he and his family owned a mixed farming operation near Virden and Armstrong, B.C. as well, before retiring in 2004. He was very active in sports including curling, baseball, golf, football and bowling and enjoyed playing bridge as well. He always enjoyed a challenge (he married me, right!) and was devoted to everything he accomplished. He also had a good sense of humor even throughout his illness. He is loving remembered by his wife Connie, son Warren and wife Norma and grandson Kevin; brother Bob and wife Carolyn, nieces Heather and Deanne and nephew Michael and families, as well as his cousin Chloe and partner Trevor and families; his aunt Mildred and Uncle Bob and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his parents Gertrude and Stuart Grant. A special thanks to the staff at the Vernon Restholm, Noric House, Polson Extended Care Unit, and Dr. Leroux for their wonderful care, compassion and support. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Virden, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Alzheimer Society or charity of choice.

Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de William Bill Stuart Grant January 30th 2019..
