Obituary of Wayne Strawn
STRAWN: Wayne Roy
After a lengthy illness, he passed away at his home as he wanted with his wife and dogs by his side, on Tuesday February 5th, 2019. Wayne, was the beloved husband of Cathy (nee Atkin), he was 67 years old. Loving father of Jason (Joan) of Sudbury and Jamie (Kristi) of Corbeil. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Hunter, Emmit, Patience and Templeton. Dearly remembered by his mother in law Shirley Atkin, and her family. He will be sadly missed by his constant companions Dakota and Cinnamon. Remembered by his dear friend Kirsten Stanton. He worked as a Welder-Fitter at G&P Welding and at Nordfiber before becoming Cathy’s Silent-partner at Wingate Lottery in Northgate for 29 years. He will be remembered for inspiring many at the YMCA, where he worked out for many years. Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Friday, February 8th, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. His family give heartfelt thanks to absolutely everyone that took care of Wayne.
