Obituary of Wayne J. Butt
Passed away at his residence on Friday, February 1, 2019, Wayne J. Butt of New Perlican; formerly of Carbonear, age 65 years. Predeceased by spouse: Alma Lambert and father: John. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Matthew, St. John’s and Evan, Grand Falls-Windsor; mother: Marion, Carbonear; three brothers: Ray (Editha), Prince George, BC, Bob and Byron (Phyllis), both of Fraser Lake, BC; three sisters: Sharon (Craig) Pilgrim, Carbonear, Geraldine (Cameron) Matchett, Stayner, ON, and Sandra (Gordon) Mercer, Upper Island Cove; also a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday, February 4 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Wayne Butt Memorial Fund, c/o Noel’s Funeral Home, 106 Water Street, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1A9.
