1956-2019
Wayne George Sprake, 62, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019
at his home. Born in Kentville on March 28, 1956, he was a son of late
William and Inez (Roberts) Sprake. As a young man he moved to Prince
Edward Island where he worked as a fisherman and with public works. In
the early 1990s he moved to North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing and
hunting and loved his Harley’s and PEI Lobster. Wayne was a
Route Technician with Allen Amusements. In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by a brother, Donnie. He is survived by his cherished
daughter, Kristy (Randy) Hambly of Prince Edward Island; siblings,
Juanita, Ira, Floyd, Brenda, Carl, Betty, Bill, Bobby, Darrell,
Darlene and Russell; many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his
numerous friends from near and far. A reception to celebrate his life
will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the White
Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Arrangements have been entrusted to
the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
