It is with the heaviest hearts that we announce the passing of our Wendy,
Wendy Leigh Wakefield (nee Werry)
in her 54th year
on February 15, 2019
Wendy is survived by her loving husband David Wakefield.
Wendy is the daughter of the late Grant Werry and is survived by her mother Eleanor Werry.
Wendy is the daughter-in-law of Don Wakefield and the late Elizabeth (Betty) Wakefield.
Wendy will be missed by her sister Susan (Bill Francis), brother Scott Werry and sister Carolyn (Mark Corbin),
her brother-in-law Mark Wakefield (Jennifer); and she will also be missed by her cherished nieces and nephews: Jordan Francis (Jenna), William Francis, Holden Francis (Kayla), Andrew Wakefield, Tom Wakefield, Alex Wakefield, Melissa Corbin,
Lynsey Corbin and her great nephew Henry David Francis.
Wendy was a graduate of Queen’s University (Bachelor of Commerce), a Chartered Accountant,
former business owner (MainStreet Health), Yoga teacher and an aspiring Yogi
who will be sadly missed by all that met her.
Per Wendy’s wishes cremation and a
private family celebration of her life have taken place.
