On Saturday, February 2, 2019, Valerie Hawkins, partner, daughter, sister, aunt, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 51. Valerie had been living with ovarian cancer for almost 5 years. Val will be remembered by her partner, kindred spirit, love, best friend, Roy Lewis and her father, Dexter Hawkins, and her sister Janet and brother, Grant and his family, Kelly, Devin and Harper. Valerie will also be remembered by all her amazing friends. Valerie would want you all to remember her message to allow for inspiration, surrender to what is, see the beauty and strength that she saw and love yourself.

A celebration of life is being planned for March 2019.
