Thomas Pelkey
1963-2019
Following a courageous battle with cancer, Thomas Gordon Pelkey of
Carlingford, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph
Hospital on February 27, 2019.
Tom was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on April 27, 1963. He leaves behind
his wife, Merridy Pelkey (McKeen); his children, Cameron Pelkey of
Fredericton, NB, Matthew Pelkey (Marie) of Rockyford, AB; his mother,
Aloma Pelkey (Swazey) of Perth-Andover, NB; his father, Adrian Pelkey
(Sandra Roach) of Carlingford, NB; his brother, Gerald Pelkey of
Fredericton, NB.
Tom was predeceased by a baby brother and by another brother, Ian
Pelkey.
Tom was a local potato farmer. Earlier in his career, Tom worked
alongside his father until Adrian’s retirement. After his father’s
retirement, Tom grew potatoes for Cavendish Farms and more recently
Hillspring Farms.

become available.
