Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loved ones on Thursday, February 7, 2019, Thomas Frederick McGrath. Predeceased by his parents, Ruth and Patrick McGrath, and father-in-law Joseph Healey. Leaving to mourn his wife Keli Jo Healey; sister-in-law Ara Healey; mother-in-law Claudette Healey; and uncles Edgar Keats (Blanche) and Harrison Downton. Tom leaves behind a large circle of family and dear friends; in particular, Dan Walsh, Paul Westcott, and Gerard Buckley. He leaves friends as well from the Gonzaga and St. Bon’s communities. Special thanks are extended to the Nephrology Team at the Kidney Care Centre, who provided exceptional care for Tom for many years, as well as the Cardiology Team and nurses of the CCU at the Health Sciences Centre, for their tireless, compassionate care for him in his final days. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road. Saturday from 3 p.m.- 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to take place at St. Pius X Church, Smithville Crescent, on Monday, February 11,2019 at 9:30 a.m. interment to follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Southlands. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Tom’s name may be made to St. Bonaventure’s College Bursary Program.
