Obituary of Terrance Fisher
FISHER, Terrance (Terry) Robert – On February 20, 2019, at Watford Quality Care, Terry passed away peacefully at the age of 86. Terry will be missed by his wife of 60 years, Janet (nee Chapman). Dear father of Sandra (Gerald Brekelmans) of Strathroy, Fawn (John Bott) of Braeside, and Bonnie (Chris Bear) of Atlanta, Georgia. Special papa to Brian, Gwenneth, Adam and Ben of Calgary. Predeceased by his son, Michael, his brothers David, Jack and Bill, and his sisters Pat and Helen. Dear papa to Cory, Chris, Curtis, Cassie, Jamie, Mitch, Zak and Tasha. Great papa to Austin, Jackson, Christopher, Bayleigh, Lila, Ben, and Maddison. Fondly remembered by sister in law Audrey Fisher and several nieces and nephews. Terry was born in Niagara Falls but his Ontario Hydro career took him to Northern Ontario. He loved the wilderness and the hunting and fishing. He retired from NPD, Rolphton, Ontario in 1988 and followed his wife to Port Hope. Four years ago, both he and Janet moved to Strathroy to be closer to family. Visitation will take place at All Saints Catholic Church, Strathroy, on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Terry are asked to consider the Rheumatoid Arthritis Society of Canada.
